#### Lesson Outline:
**1. Introduction (10 minutes)**
- **Greeting & Prayer:**
Start with a brief prayer asking for guidance in the lesson.
- **Warm-Up Activity:**
Ask the students, “When do you pray?” and “Who do you pray to?” to engage their thoughts and have them share briefly.
- **Objective Overview:**
Explain that today they will learn about the power of prayer and why it is important for Christians.
**2. Bible Story & Lesson (15 minutes)**
- **Bible Reading:**
Read a short scripture passage about prayer, such as Matthew 6:9-13 (The Lord's Prayer). You can use a children's Bible for easier comprehension.
- **Discussion:**
Talk about the story. Ask guiding questions such as:
- “What did Jesus teach the disciples about how to pray?”
- “Why do you think Jesus prayed?”
- **Key Points:**
Emphasize that:
- Prayer is talking to God.
- Everyone can pray, anywhere, and anytime.
- God listens to our prayers.
**3. Learning the Lord's Prayer (10 minutes)**
- **Recitation & Repetition:**
Hand out copies of the Lord’s Prayer and practice reading it aloud together.
- **Breakdown:**
Go through the Lord’s Prayer line-by-line to explain the meaning in simple terms:
- “Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name…” (God is holly and we respect Him)
- “Give us this day our daily bread…” (We ask God to provide for our daily needs)
- Etc.
**4. Activity (7 minutes)**
- **Prayer Cards:**
Give each student a colorful prayer card. Allow them to write or draw their own little prayer. For those unable to write, help them to articulate their prayers.
- **Sharing:**
Let a few students share their prayers with the class if they are comfortable.
**5. Conclusion (3 minutes)**
- **Summary:**
Recap the lesson’s key points:
- The power of prayer
- Jesus taught us how to pray
- The importance of prayer in our lives
- **Closing Prayer:**
Recite the Lord's Prayer together as a class to end the lesson.
